Each week we spend 40 or more hours with our workplace companions – co-workers, managers, and clients. Work is a huge part of our life journey. We are most eager to be at work when our relationships there are rewarding. Conflicts, misunderstandings and unreasonable expectations make our work lives miserable; sniping, griping, gossiping, and sabotaging drive us crazy.
The desire for change occurs when the old way simply doesn’t work anymore, and there is an increasing realization that there must be a better way. This workshop focuses on creating a climate of constructive dialogue that enhances our workplace relationships and reduces people-stress.
In a stimulating, interactive format, participants will learn how to:
- Identify relationship problems
- Express themselves clearly
- Exchange feedback
- Assert their needs effectively
- Shift gears and resolve conflict
As we develop and practice these skills we become better “traveling” companions. We open new avenues to successful collaboration, creating a more enjoyable work environment.

The relationship a woman has to her looks gets more critical as time
passes. We obsess over our faces, our bodies and our sexuality - it's
as if we were teenagers again! In this workshop we'll explore the meaning
of beauty in our second adulthood.
